“I wanted to go somewhere that was developing so that I could help be a part of uplifting,” she explained. “Working with the North Shore Business Improvement Association (NSBIA) has also been incredible. The number of plans that between the NSBIA and business owners being passionate about our area, the amount of development, the amount of safety, the amount of everything that's happened and is incoming, truly makes it a great spot to be in.”

 

Describing KAP’s services, she added that the business “is set up like a restaurant, but instead of food, it's art supplies. As people come in, they look through the variety of options, including ceramic painting, acrylics, pottery, and more, and they decide what they want to do. This system allows everyone to skill-share and sit together for a great time.”

 

Schmidt is excited to have a new development like Thompson Landing on Royal in the neighbourhood, adding that it will create more opportunities for your families and help spread joy around the community.
