We are incredibly proud of our team’s efforts and grateful to the community for showing its support for our newest development project, Thompson Landing on Royal. We want to take this opportunity and share more with you on the project as well as a little background on how we got to where we are today with the development.
We believe every great project starts with an equally great idea. Our development team is committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and design to build community, and Thompson Landing on Royal is an example of innovative design that shifts conventional housing design. It’s how we’ve arrived at developing Kamloops’ premier multi-unit riverfront development which will offer residents a sophisticated lifestyle.
We know great things don’t just happen overnight. Thompson Landing on Royal’s story begins a few years back when the former property owners approached our team after seeing our efforts in creating other signature developments on Kamloops’ North Shore. The owners knew we would care for the land and build a first class, modern residential building that would fit seamlessly into the neighbourhood to welcome new residents to this wonderful area.
After paperwork was signed, we created a name and brand. You may not know it, but the inspiration behind the name ‘Thompson Landing on Royal’ was all about setting the scene for residents with a name evoking a sense of ‘coming home to your piece of paradise, riverside’. The signature brand, well it’s inspired the water. The logo is curved in the shape of an anchor and at the top is a ‘Royal’ crown, paying homage to Royal Avenue. The crown also features a ‘T’ shaped jewel, signifying the sophistication of this ‘jewel’ of a home on the Thompson River.
The development is situated on Royal Avenue, in a beautiful neighbourhood with unique opportunities to play, work and live. This prime location provides easy access to nearby urban conveniences, such as the 40+ km Rivers Trail, McDonald Park, and dining delicacies at the soon-to-open Yew Street Food Hall. Everything is within easy access.
As proud real estate developers, we can’t choose favourites, but we have to be honest – we absolutely love this location! There is not a lot of riverfront development land available in Kamloops which is why this property is such a gem on the North Shore of Kamloops to build our 64 suite, residential development. Suites will range from studio units to two-bedroom plus den suites; plus some suites boast private rooftop terraces. There will be EV charging stations, bike and scooter parking, and a central open-air courtyard overlooking the Thompson River, ensuring the unhindered continuity between the built and natural space.
